Considering his alignment to Elios, surely he should be feeling hatred the most right now. Getting angry kept things so simple and clear cut. But more recently Caius has been feeling... Down. No temper, no emotions flaring, all he feels is grief-stricken if anything.
He tries thinking back to how his feelings ended up going this way, and it all seems to be related to just being in Verens. Spooky houses which bring out your greatest fears. Candles that show you painful memories of loved ones. It's hard to step back and just avoid these things. He loves adventure, the wonder, the new experiences he never had the chance to live back home, but every time he gets himself hyped up for something new it always goes wrong.
Usually he would take comfort in his friends and their support, on the rare few times he needs picking back up. But this feels different.
